meeting Roquesa

Roquesa "Kaye" is a 9-year old girl that Bisdakplanet is trying to help to get her eyesight back. She has glaucoma and through the initiative of some people with benevolent hearts, she finally underwent the operation last Saturday. The operation went well though only the left eye as her right eye has some sore. "Bwengget" kung sa bisaya pa. She is going to need more funds for her future right eye operation. I was glad we really had a chance to visit her last night. It was an inspiration to see how she battles her daily life without her eyesight. Hopefully, with your help, she will gain back her vision and get back to school.

Bisdakplanet's Member of the Month

I'm one of the members of Bisdakplanet, an online group of Bisdaks (Bisaya people) all over the world. I've been a member early on when this group has started but i think i'm really not that active especially for the last couple of months. I only have a single blog to maintain then. So, it really came a surprise when i emerged as the Member of the Month for July. I never anticipated nor expected it. It's really surprising to see my face/blog to be featured on the group's site.
