back from our trip

Yohooo! I'm back and I'm black! My skin is soooo dark from lazing in the sun you sure would be envious of. I really had a great time during our trip to Camiguin and Cagayan de Oro. Please check out my other blog as i will be posting there our photos later. For the meantime, gotta submit some paperworks. It was a tedious travel back home but was all worth it....

few more hours

Few more hours and i'll set foot in the land of Mindanao. Really, this would be my first time to be there. I was always afraid to travel for long hours in a boat. I was once invited before to Davao but i declined because it's a long travel and i was to travel alone. I think i might just pass out in one of the corners in the ship. Haha! The waiting is over - i gotta go this time. At least i'm with friends, so if anything happens, they're on the rescue. So, see yah in the next couple of days and watch out for our pictures! ;)

it's April!

Wooohooo!!! It's April already! Start of the 2nd quarter of the year and the start of summer season! Can't wait for our trip to Camiguin... Aahhhhh i will be basking in the sun.... wanna come with me? :) Come on, pack your stuff and laze with me in the beach! It's going to be fun.

graduation days

Graduation day should be a happy day. Sometimes when i think about it, i feel nostalgic. Way back then, going to college was pretty hard for me. I don't live the lives of the typical kolehiyalas. I had to work in school in order to go to school. Simply put, i was a working student. Being such was never easy. Joggling work and studies was never fun. If i'm not in the classroom, i was just in the lab. But not any ounce of it that i regretted. It's what that molded me. I have grown to become a strong, dependable & responsible woman. I am proud of every bit of endeavor i have gone through.

To all the graduates, may you enjoy the fruits of your hard work in school. Welcome to the real world.

march 25th

Can't believe it! It has been 8 years since i left the portals of my alma mater. Well, that is me being in the undergrad. Was back in 2005 because i enroled for master's degree that i did not finish until now, lol! Oh yeah, that was on March 25th that i hurdled college! That was long huh... five, five long years in college plus another sem for the board review. Hurray!

march 5 & 6

March 5 & 6 are special days in the family. Our eldest sister was born on the 5th and the 5th sib was born on the 6th. My parents are quite good in timing huh. I was born on July 14, our youngest was born on the 12th. The one next to me was born on September 15, the one next to her arrived exactly a year after. So, you really can't blame my mother if she get mixed up with our birthdays. :)

the tsinelas

Last year, i can say that it was the year of slippers. Splendidly, we call them the flip flops. People walk around with these slippers - from all colors and prints. People wear them not just in the beaches but also in the malls. It has literally become a fashion trend. Some even collects these flip flops. Me? I don't really care whether my slipper is in or out. Whether it is branded or not. I only would care that it is flowerets and pink. ;)

the vagina monologues

Last night, together with 5 of my friends, I watched The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler. The play was held in SM Cinema 2, a tenth anniversary worldwide v-day benefit performance to stop violence against women and girls. Believe me, i used to cringe at the thought of writing the word 'vagina', let alone uttering it. I'm a changed woman after watching! LOL! :P Seriously, the play was informative as well as entertaining. It's definitely not a show for women only. It is for everybody regardless of your gender. I'm glad i was able to watch it...
